Lost State Voices

Members of the Lost State Writers Guild, located in the Tri-State region of the Southern Appalachian Mountains, meet monthly to network and share ideas and information with the goal of furthering their various writing careers. After considering the possibility of compiling and publishing an anthology of members's works, in early 2005 a Book Committee was formed with that aim. The committee members solicited submissions from Guild members and divided up judging duties. One member, a professional photographer, donated a beautiful photo taken at Grandfather Mountain in NC for the cover. After hammering out fonts and formats and gathering printing estimates, the book became a reality just before Christmas 2005. It was well received and all books from this printing are gone.

Two more volumes, Lost State Voices II and Lost State Voices III have been published. Some copies of the third anthology are still available.
